Nine of Schuman's musical scores from Album für die Jugend and seven full-faced Basel masks were the inspiration for this project at the Bebersee Music Festival in August 2014. Together with Nico Hübner, musician and teacher, I lead a workshop with children, who acted out 18 pre-determined scenes concerning the curiosities of being young and growing up. Each scene was accompanied by a piece of music which was selected beforehand.
